"Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up." Deut 6:4-7
We offer a range of children’s ministries for ages from babies to Year 7, designed to help your child grow in faith, build community and explore God’s love in age-appropriate, engaging ways.
mainly music is a fun, interactive program for young children and their parents or carers, filled with songs, rhymes, and movement. Each session encourages learning, imagination, and connection, while giving families time to play, chat and create lasting memories together.
Our Children’s Liturgy runs on Sunday mornings during the 10am Mass and is for children aged 3 up to their First Communion. Each week, children are invited to explore the Gospel through age-appropriate stories, activities and discussion in a welcoming and engaging environment.
We also provide a home-friendly version of the liturgy so parents can continue the conversation and faith learning with their children throughout the week.
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a faith formation program for children aged 3 to 12 that nurtures a deep, personal relationship with God. Using hands-on, Montessori-inspired activities, children explore Scripture, the sacraments, and prayer in a calm, reflective environment that encourages wonder, independence and spiritual growth.
The program takes place in the Atrium at St Scholastica's school hall.
