Why Share Your Testimony?

Our testimony is our own personal experience of how God has touched our lives. It is sharing the gospel with others through the mode of personal witness.

Sharing testimony is a key part of our culture and our mission at St Ben’s.

Why?

  • Scripture instructs us to do so - “Be ready to give a reason for the hope that you have.” 1 Pet 3:15

  • We are called to be a witness through our actions, which softens hearts to the love of God. However actions alone can be insufficient, personal stories of faith can have a big impact on the lives of others.

  • Sharing our story increases our own faith - saying things aloud is part of how we come to believe ourselves.
